Preparation
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the garlic bread and scoop out some of the insides to make space for the spaghetti.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with pasta sauce, salt, pepper, and olive oil to taste. Toss in optional vegetables.
Baking
- Fill each garlic bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
- Top with cheese and place the filled garlic bread bowls on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
Use day-old garlic bread for extra crunch. Feel free to mix up the pasta sauce to match your taste. You can also add cooked ground meat or sausage for a heartier meal, and experiment with different types of cheese.
