Ingredients
  

For the Spaghetti Filling
  • 8 oz Spaghetti pasta Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 cup Pasta sauce (marinara, alfredo, etc.) Choose your preferred sauce.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Vegetables (bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach, optional) Add any combination of these vegetables.
For the Garlic Bread Bowls
  • 2 loaves Garlic bread Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 cup Cheese (mozzarella or parmesan) Use preferred type of cheese.
  • to taste Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional) Use for garnish if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Cut the tops off the garlic bread and scoop out some of the insides to make space for the spaghetti.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with pasta sauce, salt, pepper, and olive oil to taste. Toss in optional vegetables.
Baking
  1. Fill each garlic bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
  2. Top with cheese and place the filled garlic bread bowls on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  4. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Use day-old garlic bread for extra crunch. Feel free to mix up the pasta sauce to match your taste. You can also add cooked ground meat or sausage for a heartier meal, and experiment with different types of cheese.
