- Place chicken breast in the slow cooker and add marinara sauce. Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours.
- Once the chicken is cooked, top it with shredded mozzarella cheese, grated parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs.
- To finish, melt and crisp the top under the broiler for a few minutes.
Notes
For added flavor, season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs before cooking. You can add vegetables to the marinara for extra nutrition, and switch chicken for turkey or eggplant for a vegetarian version. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or frozen for longer storage.
