Main Ingredients
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 250 g pasta Any type of pasta such as egg noodles or penne.
  • 100 g onion, chopped
  • 200 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 750 ml beef broth
  • 200 ml sour cream Can be substituted with a dairy-free alternative.
  • 1 tbsp flour For thickening the sauce.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Method

Cooking
  1. Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a large pot over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink and the onion is soft.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and add the pasta. Stir well to combine.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked and has absorbed some of the broth.
  6. Remove from heat and slowly stir in the sour cream until the sauce is creamy and well mixed.
  7. Serve the dish immediately with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Add fresh herbs like parsley or chives for added flavor. You can also serve it with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
