- Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a large pot over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink and the onion is soft.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in the beef broth and add the pasta. Stir well to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked and has absorbed some of the broth.
- Remove from heat and slowly stir in the sour cream until the sauce is creamy and well mixed.
- Serve the dish immediately with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Add fresh herbs like parsley or chives for added flavor. You can also serve it with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
