Ingredients
  

Churro Dough Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs Room temperature for best texture
Coating Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar For rolling churro bites
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For rolling churro bites
  • Oil spray for air frying

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add flour and stir until a dough forms.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time until well combined.
  5. Use a piping bag to pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spray churro bites lightly with oil and air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  3. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll the warm churro bites in the mixture before serving.

Notes

Serve warm. Roll them again in extra cinnamon sugar if you like. They go well with chocolate sauce, caramel, or a dip of sweetened condensed milk. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
