Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- In a pan, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and green bell pepper until the meat is cooked through.
- Add the canned diced tomatoes, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Baking
- Take the refrigerated biscuit dough and press it into a baking dish. Pre-bake it in the oven for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, and egg until smooth.
- Layer the beef mixture over the biscuit crust in the baking dish.
- Spread the creamy mixture on top of the beef layer.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over everything and bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
Notes
Serve hot with a side salad or fresh bread. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage. Consider adding more vegetables or switching up the cheese for variations.
