Ingredients
  

Meat and Vegetables
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 onion (120 g, chopped)
  • 1 green bell pepper (150 g, chopped)
Canned Ingredients and Spices
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (400 g)
  • 1 tsp chili powder (2 g)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (3 g)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper (1 g)
Dough and Cream Ingredients
  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough (450 g)
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg
  • 200 g shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. In a pan, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and green bell pepper until the meat is cooked through.
  3. Add the canned diced tomatoes, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Baking
  1. Take the refrigerated biscuit dough and press it into a baking dish. Pre-bake it in the oven for 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, and egg until smooth.
  3. Layer the beef mixture over the biscuit crust in the baking dish.
  4. Spread the creamy mixture on top of the beef layer.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over everything and bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and golden.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or fresh bread. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage. Consider adding more vegetables or switching up the cheese for variations.
