  • 200 g cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey Can use either ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded taco cheese For topping
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • sour cream For serving
  • green onions Chopped, for serving
  • jalapeƱos Sliced, for serving

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and milk.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot and top with additional taco cheese and optional toppings if desired.

Notes

For a spicier dish, add diced jalapeƱos to the skillet. Mix in black beans or corn for added texture. Use ground chicken or plant-based meat for a healthier option.
