  • 2 cups pasta (e.g., penne or rotini) Any pasta shape can be used.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Feel free to experiment with different cream soups.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Vegetable broth can be used for a vegetarian version.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella) Adjust amount based on preference.
  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Chopped parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, add pasta.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheese until melted.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
