  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for a lighter dish.
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained You can also use fresh or frozen corn if preferred.
  • 2 cups shredded cheese Cheddar or your choice of cheese.
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots For a golden brown and crispy top.
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with cream of chicken soup.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir until well combined.
Layering and Baking
  1. In a greased baking dish, layer the beef mixture, followed by the drained corn, and then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  2. Finally, arrange the tater tots evenly over the cheese layer.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  4. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or garlic bread. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped green onions or fresh parsley. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days, or freeze for longer storage.
