- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and sear until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms. Cook until softened and lightly browned.
- Sprinkle the flour over the onion and mushroom mixture. Stir well to combine.
- Gradually pour in the beef broth while stirring. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, until thicken slightly.
- Stir in the mustard and sour cream, mixing until smooth.
- Return the seared beef to the skillet. Stir everything together and let it heat through for a few minutes.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked noodles.
