Ingredients
  

For the Pickles
  • 1 jar Dill pickles (or any type of pickles of choice) Choose your favorite type of pickles.
Breading Station
  • 1 large Egg Beaten egg for coating.
  • 1/2 cup Flour For the first coating.
  • 1/2 cup Cornmeal Mixed with breadcrumbs and seasonings.
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs Use panko for extra crunch.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder For flavor.
  • 1 tsp Onion powder For flavor.
  • 1 tsp Paprika For flavor.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper To taste.
  • Cooking spray Cooking spray For air frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice pickles into thin rounds.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with a mixture of cornmeal, breadcrumbs, and seasonings.
  3. Dip each pickle slice in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture to coat.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the coated pickles in a single layer.
  3. Lightly spray the tops of the pickles with cooking spray.
  4. Air fry for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Fried pickles are great for sharing at parties. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They can be reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispiness.
