Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and lightly oil the baking dish.
- Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer for uniform cooking.
Cooking
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken. Add salt and pepper to taste and rub gently into the meat.
- Spoon the ranch dressing over each breast and spread a layer of shredded cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven until the chicken reaches a safe internal temperature and the cheese bubbles, about 30 minutes.
- Let the dish rest briefly before serving.
Serving
- Remove from the oven, let the juices settle, and add optional parsley before plating.
