Air Fryer Shrimp Taco Bites are crispy, zesty, and bite-sized perfection. Juicy shrimp coated in seasoned breadcrumbs, air-fried until golden, and served in mini tortillas or chip cups with creamy sauce and fresh toppings. A 10-minute appetizer that’s impossible to resist.

Ingredients

Scale

12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

12 mini tortillas or scoop-shaped chips

1/2 cup shredded cabbage or lettuce

1/4 cup taco sauce or chipotle mayo

1 small avocado, diced

1 tbsp chopped cilantro

1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

1. Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C).

2. Pat shrimp dry and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan in a bowl; coat shrimp evenly.

4. Arrange shrimp in a single layer and air fry for 7–8 minutes, flipping halfway through.

5. Prepare mini tortillas or chips; add shredded lettuce or slaw.

6. Top each with one crispy shrimp and drizzle with taco sauce.

7. Finish with avocado, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. Serve immediately.

Notes

For the best crisp, don’t overcrowd the basket — cook in batches.

Store leftover shrimp separately to keep the coating crunchy.

Reheat in the air fryer at 370°F for 3–4 minutes; avoid microwaving.

You can swap panko for crushed cornflakes for extra texture.
