Ingredients

Scale

8 fresh jalapeño peppers (halved and seeded)

4 oz cream cheese (softened)

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup cooked bacon bits (optional)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt & pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or panko)

1 tbsp olive oil spray

Instructions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.

2. Cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.

3. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, bacon bits, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture using a spoon or piping bag.

5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over each stuffed pepper and lightly press to stick.

6. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil spray.

7. Place jalapeños in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

8. Air fry for 8–10 minutes until the tops are golden brown and crisp.

9. Remove carefully and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

If you prefer a keto version, skip the breadcrumbs and top with extra cheese instead.

These can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 2 days before air frying.

Use gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid irritation.
