Crispy, golden, and juicy air fryer chicken tenders that taste deep-fried without the oil. Perfect for quick family dinners or healthy meal prep.
1 lb chicken tenders (or breast strips)
1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko preferred)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Olive oil spray
1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
3. In three bowls, set up your dredging station: flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs.
4. Dip each chicken tender first in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs—press gently to coat.
5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
6. Place the tenders in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
7. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway and spraying lightly with oil for maximum crispiness.
8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
For extra crunch, mix 1 tbsp grated Parmesan into the breadcrumbs.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer for 3–4 minutes at 380°F.
